Some cool memories of my life

ABOUT

I work hard so I really enjoy having fun, learning, pushing my boundaries, and exploring our beautiful planet.

During my free time, I enjoy practicing on the acoustic guitar, developing digital projects, and reading publications on tech innovations. To maintain a good balance, I engage in sports activities several times a week: rowing, cycling, and running. But what I love most is traveling and discovering other cultures.

New York, the city that stole my heart! I had the chance to experience its magic first-hand when I stayed on Wall Street back in 2019.

In May 2019, I had the delightful experience of visiting Montreal to meet a friend living there.

In August 2020, we embarked on a journey to Croatia, exploring the islands and walking the cobblestones of ‘Game of Thrones’ locations – a truly beautiful discovery

In August 2021, we ventured to Greece for an incredible holiday amidst wildfires and COVID challenges.

In 2022, my wife and I visited her family in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, taking the opportunity to explore the country and its temples.

In September 2023, my wife and I embarked on an eventful journey to Thailand for snorkeling.

Your life begins when you understand that you only have one.

Jump over the hometown

Nancy

In August 2021, I celebrated my 30th birthday by skydiving over Nancy, a thrilling leap after a year of pandemic-induced lockdowns.

Early on a Sunday morning, I arrived at Nancy Aerodrome for a brief training session. Within an hour, we were airborne, climbing to 4,000 meters. When the plane’s door opened, the rush of wind heralded the moment to jump. The freefall was exhilarating, marked by the rapid descent due to gravity. But once the parachute opened, the experience transformed, offering a serene few minutes to enjoy the landscape and the joy of gliding like a bird.

The Big Apple

New York

New York, the city that stole my heart! I had the chance to experience its magic first-hand when I stayed on Wall Street back in 2019.

Picture this: towering skyscrapers that touch the sky, streets bustling with energy at all hours, friendly locals, and parks that offer a green oasis in the concrete jungle. Every bit of it left me in awe.

Montreal

Canada

In May 2019, I had the delightful experience of visiting Montreal to meet a friend living there.

This vast city boasts a warm soul, offering a tapestry of atmospheres and architectures from the Business District to Mont Royal, through Lafontaine Park and Old Port. What truly stands out is the relaxed, live-in-the-moment attitude of the locals, like my host Denis, who let me drive his oversized pickup through the city’s streets—an experience as unexpected as it was fantastic. Montreal’s essence lies in its accepting community, where people don’t judge but respect and trust each other, and the stunning array of creative graffiti murals that adorn its walls.

Korcula

Croatia

In August 2020, we embarked on a journey to Croatia, exploring the islands and walking the cobblestones of ‘Game of Thrones’ locations – a truly beautiful discovery

This country charms with its medieval cities, boasting impressive fortifications, numerous idyllic islands, and prehistoric waterfalls, making Croatia a delightful destination to visit. The hospitality of the Croatian people is nothing short of incredible.

Zante

Greece

In August 2021, we ventured to Greece for an incredible holiday amidst wildfires and COVID challenges.

Zakynthos, or Zante, stood out as a Greek wonder with its stunning beaches and cliffs, a haven for turtles laying eggs each August. The island was a snorkeling paradise; I spent more time in the sea than on land, exploring marine life at spots like Artemisia, Planos, and Laganas. Swimming alongside a sea turtle in the open water was a magical and unforgettable moment!

Phnom Penh

Cambodia

In 2022, my wife and I visited her family in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, taking the opportunity to explore the country and its temples.

Phnom Penh is a captivating city with its vibrant energy, warmth, and unique aromas, offering a mesmerizing experience especially for us coming from Europe. The locals, despite often being poor, greet you with smiles and are always ready to help. The streets are lined with food trucks serving local delicacies like Amok, Beef Lok Lak, or dried fish, making it easy to find a bite at any hour. The monsoon season added to the adventure, navigating through flooded streets in tuk-tuks under the constant warmth of 35 degrees Celsius.

Khao Lak

Thailand

In September 2023, my wife and I embarked on an eventful journey to Thailand for snorkeling.

Our adventures led us to savor spicy dishes featuring fresh fish and explore secluded coves on our scooter, where we encountered a myriad of tropical fish. We explored numerous islands, kayaked through mangroves, and even saw elephants. However, our experience in Phuket was less enjoyable, as mass tourism, drugs, and prostitution have significantly impacted the local culture.
